Welcome to the United Methodist Church
at New Brunswick

The United Methodist Church at New Brunswick believes that God’s love shines more brightly through the beauty of our diversity. We welcome the young, the old and everyone in between; those who are single, married or divorced; people of differing abilities, races, cultures, and ethnicities; citizens, immigrants, and refugees; people of all sexual orientations and gender identities; Those who believe in God some of the time, all of the time, or aren’t quite sure yet. No matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here!

When are Services?

Our Worship Service at 11:00am is intentionally family friendly.  All ages are welcome and there is a special time of sharing for the children. A variety of music and worship experiences are provided by our music (handbells/chancel choir/praise band) and our dance team Devotion-In-Motion. Communion is offered on the first and third Sunday of the month.

Where should I park?

You are welcome to park on Sunday in the Morris Street parking lot located on New St. between George St and Livingston Avenue across from The Heldrich Hotel.  Parking is free with a voucher you may obtain from the ushers.

What are your communion practices?

We celebrate communion on the first and third Sunday of the month.  We offer an open table which means that all persons are encouraged to share in this meal of life. The ushers will invite you forward. We take communion at the chancel rail. If you wish to take communion, but cannot come to the altar, please speak with an usher.

How can I become a member?

We invite all people who are interested in joining the congregation to attend a class, led by Pastor Cyndi. This class is an opportunity to ask questions, learn more about the Christian faith from a United Methodist perspective, and decide whether or not this is the time that that you would like to become a member of the congregation. We receive new members several times a year. Please fill out the visitor form below.

Are there Sunday School classes?

Beginning at 9:30 Sunday mornings, and lasting about an hour, we offer a Sunday school class for adults. Children & youth have Sunday school during the service.  Please check our Ministries page for this and other education opportunities at New Brunswick.
